House protocol

House rules

The balneari is a temple of silence. These rules are not red tape: they are how we make sure the water, the rest and the respect are shared in the best possible conditions, for everyone.

Safe-space commitment. This balneari fosters an atmosphere of rest, respect and dignity. Any form of harassment, degrading comments, persistent and uncomfortable staring, or any non-consensual physical contact is strictly forbidden.

Zero-tolerance policy. Any behaviour that violates the privacy or safety of our guests or staff will result in immediate expulsion from the establishment, the loss of booking rights and, where appropriate, a report to the competent authorities.

1. Payment, appointments and punctuality

  • Payment is always in advance. This establishment does not extend credit: every activity must be paid for before it takes place.
  • Any water or manual therapy you wish to enjoy at the balneari must be arranged in advance: always by prior appointment.
  • Punctuality: please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled time to get changed, so your therapy or activity can start at the time booked.
  • If a guest arrives late, the delay is deducted from their activity time, so as not to affect other guests' bookings.
  • Multi-session passes never expire and can be shared between several people. The 10% discount applies from a minimum of 5 sessions.
  • Gift vouchers expire after 90 days (3 months) from the date indicated by the customer. If you cannot use one within that period, let us know before it expires so the deadline can be extended.
  • Silence is compulsory throughout the facility.

2. Lockers

  • Lockers cannot be reserved: they are used on a first-come, first-served basis and are locked and unlocked with a key.
  • Once your activity is over, please leave each key in its corresponding locker.
  • The balneari accepts no liability for personal belongings, whether or not they are kept in the lockers.
  • Clothes and footwear must remain inside the lockers in the changing rooms.

3. Hygiene and health

To preserve the quality of the water and the health of all our guests:

  • A prior shower is compulsory, with lukewarm water, before entering the pools or thermal circuits and before any water activity. The use of soap or conditioner is forbidden anywhere in the establishment.
  • Footwear: rubber sandals or pool flip-flops are compulsory in all areas, to prevent slips, falls and infections.
  • A swimming cap is compulsory, to keep the filters free of residue and the water clean. Long hair must be gathered up inside the cap.
  • Swimwear: a swimsuit or bikini is compulsory in all areas. Entering the water areas in street clothes or underwear is strictly forbidden. Babies in nappies and adults with incontinence must wear swim nappies.
  • Health restrictions: entry is not permitted with open wounds, infectious or contagious diseases, or feverish symptoms.
  • Creams, oils, lotions and make-up may not be worn before entering the water areas.
  • Baby changing units must be cleaned after use, especially if any organic residue remains.

4. Behaviour and silence

The balneari is a "temple of silence". Help us keep the calm:

  • Respect is essential, both towards the balneari staff and towards the people sharing an activity with you.
  • Diving in head first, playing around or disturbing other pool users is forbidden, as is spitting or putting foreign objects into the water.
  • The rails of the pool and the jacuzzi are there only to help you up and down the steps: playing, hanging or swinging on them is forbidden.
  • Tampering with the halogenerator (the salt-room device) is strictly forbidden.
  • Tone of voice: please speak quietly so as not to disturb other guests. Shouting and loud noises will be grounds for a warning, anywhere in the facility.
  • Electronic devices: the use of mobile phones, cameras and speakers is forbidden. Our guests' privacy comes first.
  • For safety reasons, running anywhere in the facility is strictly forbidden.
  • Please respect the times set for each activity: you will find them in the thermal circuit table.

5. Safety and restrictions

Follow the staff's instructions at all times and, in the event of an accident, inform the team immediately.

  • Minimum age: 4 months. Entry is permitted from 4 months of age.
  • Up to 17, always accompanied. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Vaporarium for adults only. Under-18s may not use the vaporarium (steam sauna).
  • Substances: entry under the effects of alcohol or drugs is forbidden, as is smoking anywhere on the premises.
  • Food and containers: outside food may not be brought in, nor glass containers or sharp materials, either in the water area or in the facility in general.
  • Staff-only areas: entering the duly signposted areas reserved for staff is forbidden.

6. Liability

  • The balneari accepts no liability for personal belongings, whether or not they are kept in the lockers.
  • Guests are responsible for taking care of the facilities. Damage caused by improper use must be covered by whoever caused it.
  • Adults must be responsible for the minors in their care.
  • Lost property is kept at the balneari for a maximum of 3 months.
  • Anyone causing a nuisance or a scene, or whose behaviour is inappropriate, will be asked to leave the establishment immediately, with no right to any refund.

7. Right to require guests to leave

  • The management and authorised staff may ask a person to leave the establishment.
  • Once your activity or the opening hours have ended, you are required to leave and not remain on the premises.
  • If a guest refuses to leave once their activity has finished or at closing time, the staff may call the security forces to proceed with the removal: remaining against the will of the management or authorised staff may constitute an offence or a civil or criminal wrong.
  • Once closing time has been announced or the activity has ended, the establishment stops providing service and guests must leave, for safety reasons and in compliance with the operating regulations.
  • Using the changing rooms, corridors or toilets as a rest area is forbidden.

8. Thermal circuit: capacity and times

So that the experience is a benefit and not a risk, please respect the capacity limits and maximum times of each area. Keeping to the times helps avoid drops in blood pressure.

  • Pregnant women, during the first 3 and the last 3 months, should consult their doctor first.
  • People undergoing cancer treatment should also consult their doctor.
  • The contraindications of these waters are detailed on pages 9 to 13 of the balneotherapy dossier: Contraindications of the waters (PDF, in Spanish).
